1. The Design Vision: Classic & Vintage Aesthetics with “Invisible” Integration

Working from detailed 3D drawings provided to the client for reference, the transformation began from a completely raw room. The objective was to blend classic-and-vintage styling with modern AV technology without letting technical clutter dominate the space.

• Acoustic Wall Treatment: Custom fabric-covered acoustic panels combined with decorative elements and selected glasswork control reflections while establishing a sophisticated, warm color palette.
• Lighting & Architecture: A carefully planned stepped ceiling with integrated lighting accents and architectural beams.

• Seating & Custom Carpentry: A plush16mm floor carpet reduces floor reflections, while a custom-built wooden podium deck elevates the rear row of the seven motorized recliners.

• Equipment Housing: A custom wooden equipment cabinet with a Deko paint finish keeps electronics and cabling organized behind the scenes.

2. Immersive 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos Sound Architecture

Sound is the heartbeat of any true cinematic experience. To tackle bass modes and spatial imaging in an 18 ft x 18 ft with 10 ft ceiling height space, the system utilizes a robust Polk Audio layout driven by a Marantz Cinema 50 receiver:

• Front Soundstage: Three Polk VS265-RT in-wall speakers handle the left, center, and right channels behind the acoustically transparent screen for pinpoint dialogue localization.
• Surround Channels: Four Polk VS85i in-wall speakers create an enveloping lateral soundfield for the seating positions.
• Dolby Atmos Height Channels: Two Polk V80i in-ceiling speakers provide the vertical dimension for overhead effects like rain and aircraft.
• Low-Frequency Foundation: Dual Polk ES10 subwoofers ensure smooth, even bass response across all seating positions, minimizing room node anomalies.
• Power Conditioning: A TAGA PF-1000 unit protects sensitive electronics and maintains a clean power infrastructure.

• The Screen: A massive 135-inch Elite Screens 8K perforated HD matte white screen allows front-channel sound to pass directly through the material, achieving seamless audio-visual alignment.
• The Projector: A ceiling-mounted BenQ W2720i 4K LED projector delivers sharp, vibrant images optimized for movies and sports.
• Streaming Source: An Apple TV 4K (128GB) handles high-definition OTT streaming and everyday family entertainment.
